Tomlin Mystic is a roots reggae veteran who has been performing since the 80s as part of Birmingham’s “Natural Mystique” band. Heavily influenced by Peter Tosh amongst others, Tomlin Mystic’s foundation style follows the roots tradition and his performances with the Friendly Fire Band are truly spiritual and his stage presence is unmatched.
As well as a lead singer for Friendly Fire Band, Tomlin Mystic has also collaborated with many artists across genres, including Free School and Essa Reggae amongst others.
Tomlin Mystic is a versatile artist, and the militancy of songs like “Live As One” and ” The Enemy Within” is balanced with more light hearted tunes such as the ska number “Jump”, and the tongue in cheek “Inspector Ganja”.
